A Course in Miracles study group brings us together to explore, discuss, and practice the teachings of ACIM.
We share our experiences, deepen our understanding of the course's teachings (such as true forgiveness, non-duality, or the obstacles to truth), and support one another in our daily practice.

A Course in Miracles was born between 1965 and 1972 in the United States. Helen Schucman, a psychologist at Columbia University, transcribed what she described as an inner dictation from a voice she identified as that of Christ. Her colleague William Thetford encouraged her to write down these messages. The result is a work of over 1,200 pages, published in 1976 by the Foundation for Inner Peace. Translated into more than 25 languages, ACIM is today studied by millions of people around the world as a path of inner transformation that is non-religious, yet deeply spiritual.
ACIM is composed of three parts: the Text (the theory), the Workbook for Students (the daily practice), and the Manual for Teachers. The 365 lessons of the Workbook are designed to be practiced one per day over the course of a year. Each lesson is short — a few paragraphs — and offers a concrete exercise to apply throughout the day. The first lessons deconstruct our habitual perceptions. The following ones gradually introduce a new way of seeing the world, based on love, forgiveness, and inner peace. The progression is intentional and cumulative — each lesson prepares the next.
The practice is simple and requires no spiritual prerequisites. Each morning, read the lesson of the day — this takes 2 to 5 minutes. Throughout the day, return to the central idea as often as you remember — while driving, working, or walking. In the evening, take a moment to observe what the lesson has changed in the way you perceived the situations you experienced. There is no right or wrong way to practice. ACIM itself says: "Seek not to understand, seek to practice." Consistency matters more than perfection.
ACIM addresses the cause of suffering rather than its symptoms. Most of our conflicts, fears, and sorrows come from the way we interpret what happens to us — not from the events themselves. The lessons gradually train the mind to choose a different interpretation: love rather than fear, forgiveness rather than judgment. This is not positive thinking — it is a deep re-education of perception. The effects often manifest quietly: less reactivity, more peace in difficult situations, relationships that become calmer. After a year of regular practice, most practitioners report a lasting transformation in their relationship with the world and with themselves.
