What is consciousness ?

We are going to explore together a very controversial topic on Earth right now.

According to the “old school”, still taught in universities today, consciousness is a product of the brain. This is the materialist view, and it remains what the majority of the Earth’s population still believes.

For the past few decades, however, a new branch of neuroscience has broken away from this old materialist belief and now asserts that it is consciousness that projects the body (including the brain), and not the other way around.

We also have more and more quantum physicists who dare to state that matter derives from consciousness, and not the reverse.

But what these scientific researchers do not know, including Max Planck, is what consciousness actually is. Max Planck believed that this consciousness is something we cannot transcend.

But now let us listen to those who have transcended it, who tell us that we too can do it, and who also give us the keys to learn how.

In A Course in Miracles, Jesus speaks to us about consciousness in Chapter III, in the section titled “Conflict and the Ego”:

“Consciousness is thus the level of perception, but NOT of knowledge. Again, to perceive is NOT to know. Consciousness was the first split that man introduced into himself. He became a PERCEIVER, rather than a creator in the true sense.

Consciousness is correctly identified as the domain of the ego.
The ego is a man-made attempt to perceive himself as he WISHED to be, rather than as he IS. This is an example of the created-creator confusion we have spoken of before.

Yet man can only KNOW himself as he IS because that is all he can be SURE of. Everything else IS open to question.”

He tells us here that consciousness is dual (projector and screen onto which the projection is cast). He clearly states that it is the ego, the thought of separation from God, which gives rise to dualistic consciousness, that projects matter and the images we perceive, images that quantum science also confirms do not truly exist.

In the teaching given by the ascended masters (the Holy Spirit) in Gary Renard’s book The Disappearance of the Universe, we are revealed the words Jesus spoke to Thomas when he took him aside to reveal this great mystery (for humanity) and this obvious certainty for Him (the pure Spirit) who had transcended consciousness (see article : https://www.ichoosepeace.love/father-did-not-make-the-desert for more details).

Here is what Jesus said to Thomas:

What this teaching of Jesus reveals, He who spoke and still speaks today in the name of absolute Truth, is that we are the author of this dualistic consciousness, and that it projects this chaotic, dual multiverse we call “reality,” which in fact is not real at all!

Consciousness is the first level of the ego, which then subdivides itself by projecting smaller and smaller fragments of this initial idea of separation.

What we truly are is the same as the Christ, and the same as God Himself, because Cause and Effect are never separate or different.

We can see consciousness as false causality (the idea that separation was possible), and the spirit that believes in it projects this idea in the form of objects appearing outside of itself (false effects coming from a false cause). Meanwhile, those who have awakened all tell us that there is only God. And that God is Love. There is nothing else in the Kingdom of God. There are no opposites, no separate thoughts, no subjects and objects, no duality, there is only God. For there is no difference or separation between God and His Creation. Cause and Effect are One.

This statement by Jesus also stands in opposition to religious texts that claim God created the universe and physical bodies. Jesus says here: No. He did not create anything we perceive. These images come from our own dream of separation. We are not the victims, but the authors of our own imprisonment.

The solution: True Forgiveness, without guilt, which looks upon the illusions of this world and sees that they are not real. And thus, they disappear.
